One data to help them all

A new role in your scrum team?

Bring the canoes

Is data helping your efforts to become lean and agile? The capacity to manage data is key in unlocking the value buried in vaults, data lakes and desktops while providing visibility and wisdom to the business to explore better ways to compete on the digital transformation journey.

Are your Scrum Master, Product Owner and Scrum Team sharing the same level of information? probably not, but the key question is — Do they have access to the same data? If this is the case the alignment, transparency and mindset will have a common ground to increase the value streams with rich user stories, relevant features, and smart epics. Of course, we are talking of available information under existing policies because the purpose and objectives of your data governance program provides for reliable and effective roles and responsibilities to access, transform and consume data, right? Right?

Business context and vision shared by the Product Owner will have exactly the required meaning across the board in a lean-agile environment. This will create the desired alignment to elevate the speed of your scrums and more importantly your customer satisfaction by increasing the value delivered on every iteration.

Capacity to manage data sometimes is overlooked and we may want to open the door to our daily stand-up session to a business analyst, data scientist or data engineer not just as special resources but regular ones ensuring that no value is left on the table.

Data is of the essence.
